Day 2 of the St Mary’s DSG, Kloof U16 Netball Tournament was a rollercoaster!

The rain forced the fixtures indoors. The 1st game against Durban Girls’ College was a tough battle! NGHS were winning the first half, but DGC proved to be the stronger team and beat NGHS 21-7. The second game was against Danville Park Girls’ High School. It was a one-point game until the final minutes of Power Play, and the NGHS Knights truly showed up to take the win: NGHS 13 – 9 Danville Park Girls’ High School.
The final game was a real nail-biter against St Stithians Girls’ College and Prep. NGHS were behind at halftime, but with the crowd on their feet and the clock ticking down, they put the pressure on and secured a thrilling draw!
NGHS 15 – 15 St Stithians. NGHS is very grateful to Ashton International College Ballito for being the loudest cheerleaders!
