Celebrating our Old Girl, Wendy Knowler!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Wendy Knowler, who has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) by Rhodes University in recognition of her outstanding contribution to consumer journalism in South Africa.

For nearly three decades, Wendy has fearlessly championed consumer rights, held powerful institutions to account and given ordinary South Africans a voice.

Affectionately known as the “Consumer Ninja”, her remarkable career is a testament to the power of journalism to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Congratulations, Dr Wendy Knowler! What a wonderful and well-deserved honour. We are so proud to call you one of our own!
