KZN Volleyball Tournament

The Northlands Girls’ High School U14 and U17 Volleyball teams recently competed in the KZN Schools Volleyball Tournament.
The U17 team faced a challenging draw and competed against strong opposition throughout the tournament. Although they did not progress beyond the group stages, they showed determination, resilience, and great sportsmanship on the court.
The U14 team delivered an outstanding performance, topping their group and advancing to the semi-finals. In a thrilling and closely contested match, they narrowly lost 15–14 to UKZN, who went on to become the U14 champions.
Finishing 3rd overall out of 15 schools is a remarkable achievement, and NGHS is incredibly proud of the U14 team and their coaches for their hard work, dedication, and success. Well done to both teams for representing the school with pride! Thank you to the NGHS coaches, Coach Darshan and Coach M, who have both been selected for the U17 and U14 Umlazi District manager, respectively.
