NGHS Learners Attend the Aviation Summit

The Northlands Girls’ High School Grade 11 and 12 Physical Science learners, with an interest in Aviation, were privileged to be invited to The South African Civil Aviation Authority in collaboration with ICAO – Next Generation of Aviation (NGAP) International Summit at the Durban ICC. Exhibitors in the Aviation and related Industries engaged with learners on the various career opportunities and bursaries available. A Pilot and Civil Engineer delivered inspiring talks, advising learners to work hard and stay relevant in a competitive and technologically changing world. Learners had a tour of a makeshift aeroplane and interacted with Aviation Technicians and Mechanics. A bonus was meeting NGHS Old Girl Kwanele Buthelezi (Class of 2024), who is in her first year of Pilot training.
