NGHS Public Speakers Shine

Three of our talented Public Speaking learners proudly represented Northlands Girls’ High School at the prestigious Clifton School Declamation Competition. A declamation is a unique form of public speaking where learners deliver well-known speeches, reinterpreted in their own voice and style. A huge congratulations to Ilitha Peyana, Panashe Makopah, and Saanvi Chitra for their powerful performances!
NGHS is especially proud to announce that Saanvi Chitra (Grade 10) was awarded runner-up in the junior category for her stirring rendition of a Gloria Steinem speech from the 2017 Women’s March — a performance made even more meaningful during Women’s Month.
Well done to these inspiring learners for their confidence, creativity, and passion!
