NGHS Stand Together for Kerr House

Kerr House, Durban’s hospice for women, stands as a beacon of hope and a safe haven for women who have faced abuse, trauma, and hardship. In celebration of Women’s Month, Northlands Girls’ High School proudly joined hands with MOTHWA Haven Retirement Home to support these brave women — offering not just essentials, but also kindness, dignity, and care.
Together, our school community and the residents of MOTHWA Haven came together in a beautiful act of compassion and solidarity, collecting and donating daily necessities to make life a little easier for those at Kerr House.
The collection drive was a success, reflecting the power of collaboration, generosity, and sisterhood. It was a reminder that when women and communities stand together, remarkable things happen.
