School Play “Disconnected” a Great Success

The Northlands Girls’ High School 2026 School Play ‘Disconnected’ was an original one-act play focusing on a societal issue surrounding the overuse of technology to communicate, leading to many feeling disconnected in real-life interactions. NGHS Drama educator Mrs Kandhei wrote and directed the play, with Mrs Barnard producing it. Six performers ranged from Grade 9 to 12, with many having their stage debut. The play was a fun throwback to the technology of the 1980s and led to much laughter from parents watching the Gen Zs try to figure it all out! Thank you to Ms Verga, the art department, Mrs Barnard, Mr Trotter, and Mr Shandu for the fantastic set design.”
