Mandela Day Supporting 67 Blankets for Mandela

NGHS proudly chose to support 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day in honour of Mandela Day.
The spirit of unity and collaboration demonstrated throughout this campaign was truly inspiring. Learners, parents, staff, and corporate partners all contributed with remarkable generosity and compassion.
In a special grade assembly, attended by Ms. Sue Eslick from 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, NGHS was honoured to announce the donation of a total of 645 handmade squares.
Three special mentions for the individuals with the most squares made:
Ms Labuschagne (130),
Mrs Fouche (131)
Hanaa Cassim, Grade 8 (123).
This outstanding achievement reflects the profound impact that a collective effort can have on the lives of others — a powerful embodiment of the true spirit of Mandela Day.
