NGHS Debaters to Represent KZN

Two learners from Northlands Girls’ High School, Chuma Mbewu (Grade 12) and Yonga Rozani (Grade 11), proudly represented Durban at the KZN Provincial Debating Tournament. After three days of intense competition, NGHS is thrilled to announce that both learners were selected for the KZN Debating Squad.
Due to her Grade 12 academic commitments, Chuma has chosen not to take up the position on the squad. However, Yonga will be travelling to the National Tournament in December to represent KwaZulu-Natal.
In addition to this incredible achievement, Yonga’s team secured a silver medal in the Plate Finals. We are immensely proud of both learners for their outstanding accomplishments and dedication to their school. Special mention to Miss N. Fouchè and Mrs L. Fouchè for their time, effort, and support. Debating at NGHS has never looked so good.
