NGHS French Learner Excells

Panayota Assimakis is a Grade 12 learner at Northlands Girls’ High School, who has successfully completed and passed the DELF A1, A2 and B1 examinations, which are internationally recognised French language qualifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education. The examinations are administered through the Alliance Française, which is officially authorised to conduct DELF examinations on behalf of the French government.
She is the only learner in her French class this year to have attempted and passed the B1 examination, and NGHS are incredibly proud of this accomplishment. Panayota is also currently working towards the DELF B2 examination, which she hopes to write later this year.
The DELF qualifications are permanent, internationally recognised diplomas that never expire. They are accepted by universities, employers and government institutions around the world as official proof of French language proficiency. Because they are issued by the French Ministry of Education, they hold considerable international prestige and are highly regarded both academically and professionally.
Panayota’s achievement has been assisted by the NGHS French educator Ms Makasu, who has been part of Panayota’s successful journey. Thank you, Ms Makasu, for your dedication.
